A few crossword puzzles, whose theme is clearly connected to the book<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These are New York Times-style puzzles, with the added constraint that many clues come from the book<\/a>. \u00a0To do so, I’ve deliberately violated a few key principles of crossword puzzle design.\u00a0 In the first four puzzles, the grid is not symmetric, and I’ve occasionally used some two-letter words.\u00a0 In subsequent puzzles, the proportion of black squares is higher than the required one sixth, or I may have taken less clues from the area of topology.<\/p>\n

By the way, they should be much easier to complete if you do<\/em> have the book<\/a>. \u00a0But you may also take up the challenge by yourself.<\/p>\n

The difficulty is rated according to the convention that Monday puzzles are easiest, and Friday puzzles are hardest.<\/p>\n
