{"id":29,"date":"2017-10-26T14:49:48","date_gmt":"2017-10-26T13:49:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projects.lsv.ens-paris-saclay.fr\/epit18\/?page_id=29"},"modified":"2018-05-10T06:54:24","modified_gmt":"2018-05-10T05:54:24","slug":"venue","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/projects.lsv.ens-paris-saclay.fr\/epit18\/?page_id=29","title":{"rendered":"Venue &#038; travel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The school will be held at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caes.cnrs.fr\/sejours\/centre-paul-langevin\/\">Centre Paul-Langevin<\/a> in Aussois, France.<\/p>\n<h2>Transportation<\/h2>\n<p>The nearby city of <b>Modane<\/b> (8km) is easily accessible by train, with direct TGV trains from Paris, Lyon, etc. There has been a significant call for strikes at SNCF, but <b>there will be no strike<\/b> on Sunday 6th and Friday 11th.<\/p>\n<p>EPIT busses will run between Modane and Aussois, at the beginning and end of the school:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>from Modane to Aussois on Sunday 6th at 19:00;<\/li>\n<li>from Aussois to Modane on Friday 11th at 13:00 (to catch trains\/busses leaving Modane at 13:45 or later).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other than that, a few busses run between Modane and Aussois: check <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altibus.com\/\">here<\/a> for availabilities and to book tickets. The main option is likely a taxi: see <a href=\"#taxi\">below<\/a> for a list of contacts.<\/p>\n<p>We will get in touch with all participants once registration is closed, and provide an opportunity for participants arriving at similar times to share taxis.<\/p>\n<h2>Arrival<\/h2>\n<p>A cold buffet will be available for dinner on Sunday 6th starting at 19:30.
